SMALL GROUPS 
TENDING TO OUR BODIES, MINDS, AND SOULS
For those folks who seek and find meaning in smaller more intimate settings, we offer many opportunities for spiritual growth and social gatherings.

Please note that many of these groups are on hold until we can once again meet safely in person.

​Out-to-Lunch Bunch, 1 p.m., 4th Sundays

This is an informal, free spirited, whoever wants may come kind of gathering. Watch our "Coming Up" page for our next destination and come join us for giggles and grub.

Book Group, 7 p.m., 4th Sundays
Reading the best books available, whether from the New York best sellers' list, Whatcom Reads, or the classics, this groups explores books to expand their minds and their hearts. Please contact Brenda Riseland for more info.

Esther Group, 11:30 a.m., 3rd Mondays
Formerly a part of Christian Women's Fellowship, this group of women now meets monthly for lunch and fellowship, fun and friendship. All are welcome to join them as they gather in a local restaurant. Please contact the church office for details on their next gathering.

Bible Study, 11a, Tuesdays
Meeting in the church library, this groups explores the lectionary scriptures for the following Sunday. All are welcome to join this lively discussion group of Biblical explorers.

​Mindful Meditation, 11a, Wednesdays

​Led by our Faith Community Nurse, Jane Kletka, R.N., this group meets once a week for a time of quiet reflection, meditation, and peace. Open to all those interested in exploring the ways of mindful meditation (focusing your thoughts, breathing, awareness of mind and body, body and muscle relaxation).

Pub Theology, 6:30 p.m., 3rd Thursdays
Beer, conversation, and God! Or, any beverage and/or menu item of your choice. Meaningful conversation guaranteed. We are currently meeting at Jeckyl and Hyde's, 709 Orchard Pl # 1. See our Pub Theology Facebook page for more info or email us to subscribe to our mailing list.

Checking in Group, 5 p.m., 4th Thursdays
This group meets on the fourth Thursday of each month. All are welcome to join this supportive group of people who share life's journey together, seeking and finding God's grace along the way.

Men's Breakfast, 7:30 a.m., Saturdays at Denny's
All men are invited to join this weekly breakfast group for fun and fellowship. (And, we hear, driving their server a wee bit bonkers - but she loves them, anyway, as they tip well.) A sense of humor is highly encouraged.
