Joanne Kestermont, Office Administrator
Alma Lu, Official Greeter
Joanne is our Administrative Assistant, and Alma-Lu is the Assistant to the Administrative Assistant, spiritual support dog, and overly enthusiastic doorbell. (She takes her position very seriously!) Joanne is the one to call for prayer requests, scheduling information, getting added to the email list, and the answers to just about any questions. If she can’t answer it, she will do her best to find someone who can.
They live together in Bellingham and love working at FCC. Joanne was born in Bellingham but moved away as a child in the 1950’s. She moved back to Bellingham in 2012 and has no plans to ever leave again. She claims it’s the best place she has ever lived… Alma-Lu has lived in Bellingham since she was just a few weeks old. Joanne’s hobbies include baking, reading, smiling at random strangers, and taking walks with Alma-Lu. Alma-Lu’s hobbies include playing with squeaky toys, barking at passers-by, napping, and playing and running in the field behind the church.
Before coming to FCC Joanne was an Administrative Assistant at First Presbyterian Church Bellingham. This is Alma-Lu’s very first job, after all she is only two years old.
